Clinical Support Coordinator
About Us:
We are leaders in mental health service delivery, specialising in working with adults and young people, and in early childhood intervention.
Our purposeful approach reflects our ambition to make a positive impact in the recovery journey.
We strive to provide high-quality support services that cater to the needs of regional communities in NSW.
These centres will provide a free, safe and welcoming space for individuals to access mental health advice, supports and services. Walk-ins will be welcomed, services are confidential, and no appointment or referral will be required.
Our services focus on providing a combination of peer-led recovery and clinical support.
They offer a supportive environment for people experiencing psychological distress, providing an alternative to presenting to the Emergency Department for low-risk individuals.
This allows them to access support from trained mental health professionals within their community, outside a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the central point of communication and provide superior level of secretarial and reception services to people 18+, supporting clinical and management staff.
- Perform medical reception duties including taking incoming calls and directing callers to the appropriate member of staff.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintenance of clients.
- Conduct general office duties such as opening and distribution of mail, typing, scanning, filing and archiving.
- Assist in closing and securing the building at the end of the day.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for staff and clients.
Requirements:
- Excellent administration, time management, and organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Well-developed customer service skills.
- Knowledge of the mental health/not-for-profit sector with ability to liaise with people from all backgrounds.
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organisational skills.
- Proven record in working closely with and being a successful member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Previous Medical Reception experience would be highly advantageous.
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM applications would be highly advantageous.
- The ability to learn a new medical software program would be an advantage.
- Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC.
- Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.
