About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will drive growth by building customer relationships, promoting hire solutions, and identifying new business opportunities across Victoria.

You will work closely with Branch Managers and the wider team to deliver sales targets and strengthen our position in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Conduct site visits and customer negotiations
  • Prepare tenders, submissions, quotations, and contracts
  • Monitor market trends and provide insights to management
  • Support operational integration with branch teams
  • Contribute to sales planning and marketing campaigns

Requirements:

  • Proven sales/business development background, ideally in hire or related industries
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of the Victorian construction, mining, and trade sectors
  • Current driver's licence (MR/HR truck licence desirable)
  • Willingness to travel across Victoria and occasionally interstate
