Pet Care Specialist

As a Pet Care Specialist at PETstock Retail Pty Ltd, you will be part of a dynamic team that is inspired by pets to grow as people.

A day in the life of a Pet Care Specialist includes:
- Providing outstanding customer service and building meaningful relationships with customers
- Assisting customers in selecting the right products for their pets' needs
- Working collaboratively with the sales team to achieve store sales goals
- Maintaining a safe and clean store environment, ensuring all stock is properly displayed
- Staying up-to-date on pet care knowledge and sharing this expertise with customers
- Cultivating a positive and supportive team culture
- Embodying a strong safety mindset and promoting a culture of safety within the team
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A genuine passion for animals and providing excellent customer service
- Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in pet care
- A demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
- Physical fitness, with the ability to lift products up to 20kg
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
This role offers a competitive salary of $55,000 per annum, plus additional benefits such as a discount on store products and opportunities for career growth.
