About the SCCM Specialist role at Pyramid Global Technologies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating System Deployment (OSD): Design, build, and troubleshoot new image builds, ensuring seamless deployment of operating systems.
  • Task Sequence Management: Create, upgrade, and maintain task sequences for efficient image builds, patch management, and software deployment.
  • Software Updates and Patch Management: Download, test, and deploy feature updates, monthly patches, and security updates to customer PCs, utilizing WSUS and SCCM 2012.
  • Microsoft Intune and Azure Integration: Implement Intune/Azure mobile device management with SCCM and Office 365/Exchange hybrid environments, ensuring seamless integration and management.
  • Security Patch Management and Reporting: Expert-level experience in security patch management, reporting, and analysis on Windows clients and servers, including Microsoft Security Update processes.
  • SCCM Server and Distribution Point Management: Build, configure, deploy, support, and maintain the SCCM Server and Distribution Points (DPs), ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Scripting and Automation: Expertise in imaging, patch management, scripting, and automation, leveraging System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Orchestrator.
  • Active Directory and Group Policy Management: Strong experience with Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), writing, and troubleshooting, including software deployment and security settings.
  • SCCM Software Update Point (SUP) Management: Manage SCCM Software Update Point (SUP) and perform scripting to automate functions, ensuring efficient software updates and patch management.
