Canine Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Canine Care Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise groups of dogs and manage their behaviors to maintain overall wellbeing and safety.
  • Provide canine enrichment through play and scheduled activities.
  • Implement daily leadership and training activities.
  • Frequent cleaning and upkeep of facility.
  • Build and maintain rapport with dog owners through daily feedback and transparency.
  • Create and distribute media content for dog owners through videos and photos.
  • Daily administration such as answering enquiries, record keeping of dog behaviors, preparing documents for dog owners.

Requirements:

  • Available to attend a lawful unpaid work trial shift.
  • Confident to physically handle larger dog breeds.
  • High level of communication and empathetic in nature.
  • Able to work long days, on your feet, in a high pressure environment.
  • Possess a passion for, strong desire to learn, or aspiration to continue development with canine behavior and training.
  • Comfortable with computer systems and phone applications.
