Job Summary

The Senior Regulatory Officer will be responsible for applying contemporary regulatory strategies to protect children and foster community confidence.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Apply relevant legislation, standards, policies, and guidelines fairly and consistently when undertaking regulatory functions.
  • Develop positive relationships with service providers and stakeholders to achieve regulatory objectives.
  • Implement consistent, transparent, and robust regulatory practice in accordance with the legislation.
  • Provide recommendations informed by data and analysis of evidence.
  • Identify and respond to risk through application of risk-based decision making.
Requirements:
  • Experienced regulatory professional with investigative and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work closely with colleagues to resolve complex matters.
