Automation Tester

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team. As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software applications.

The successful candidate will have experience in creating parallel cross-browser automation tests and CI/CD pipelines. They will also possess knowledge of system performance testing and penetration testing (desirable). Familiarity with UI automation tools such as Selenium and Cypress is essential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing strategic test plans and articulating test plans for project deliverables
  • Working with business analysts and engineers to describe testable business features and co-ordinate testing of features
  • Developing functional automation tests using test automation tools
  • Ensuring automation testing standards are met
  • Understanding the scope of work in each sprint/release and directing automation testing efforts to areas of most risk
  • Automating functional and regression testing scenarios and executing all levels of testing (system, integration, and regression)
  • Providing quality assurance signoff for each release, identifying testing coverage, gaps, and other potential risks
  • Conducting manual testing when required
  • Configuring continuous integration jobs and related scripts for overall test scenario orchestration
  • Scheduling and reporting of automated test runs

Requirements:

  • Coding skills in Java and C#
  • Skills in creating parallel cross-browser automation tests
  • Skills in creating CI/CD pipelines for automation tests
  • Knowledge of system performance testing and penetration testing (desirable)
  • Experience in utilizing UI automation tools
