We are seeking an accomplished Centre Director to spearhead the success of our centre.

Job Overview

This is a pivotal role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of early childhood education principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the centre, including managing staff, coordinating activities, and maintaining relationships with parents.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in centre management, with experience in supervising teams, developing policies, and implementing best practices. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, children, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring high-quality care and education for all children.
  • Lead and manage a team of Educators and Teachers, providing coaching and mentoring to support their professional growth.
  • Develop and implement engaging programs that promote children's learning and development.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment, adhering to regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative culture within the centre, promoting teamwork and diversity.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a licensed childcare centre or similar setting, including leadership experience.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
