Job Title: Operational Services Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operational Services Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our Pre-Analytical Services team, you will play a vital role in supporting patient care by delivering high-quality customer service and ensuring specimens are collected, prepared, and managed accurately and efficiently.

The successful candidate will work effectively in a team environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining accuracy while handling both internal and external customer enquiries professionally. You will be responsible for ensuring specimens are accurately prepared, stored, and transported under defined conditions, while maintaining precise data entry into laboratory information systems to support timely diagnosis and treatment.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to support patients and staff
  • Able to work effectively in a team, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy
  • Demonstrated reliability, sound computer literacy, and commitment to confidentiality
