Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef Kitchen Staff to join our team at Collarcare in Peel Region Western Australia. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents. With a focus on HACCP guidelines and quality assurance, you will be expected to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and presenting food for our residents
  • Assisting with menu planning and stock ordering
  • Maintaining a clean working environment and adhering to food hygiene practices
  • Providing fast and effective service with a positive attitude
  • Preparing and presenting texture modified foods

Requirements:
  • Food Hygiene Certificate
  • 1 year + experience in a chef/cook role within a healthcare related setting
  • 3x COVID Vaccination (including booster) and recent Flu Vaccine
  • Current National Police Check and NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain these
  • Valid work rights and cultural awareness
  • Ability to work within a team or unsupervised and good verbal and written communication skills
