Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Processing Specialist to join our Finance Department in Hawthorn East.

  • Prepare fortnightly payrolls for multiple sites across Victoria, ensuring accuracy and adherence to taxation and superannuation legislation.
  • Update and maintain payroll records, processing variations, new starters, leave, timesheets, termination payments, correction pays, Centrelink requests, ABS surveys, and information requests.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in payroll processing with a strong understanding of taxation and superannuation legislation.
  • Systems confidence for use of HRIS, electronic timekeeping systems, and related databases.
  • A high level of attention to detail and strengths in accuracy.
  • The ability to interpret and apply conditions of employment (Awards, Enterprise Agreements, Contracts of Employment).
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide timely actions and responses.
