About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, innovative & proactive individual to assist participants and school leavers in achieving their employment goals under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This position will provide one-to-one servicing with a focus on building capacity towards employment.

  • Develop professional relationships with participants at various stages of their employment journey.
  • Create a positive and supportive environment for individuals with disabilities to help them achieve their employment objectives.
  • Design and implement an individual support plan and a 12-week action plan that outlines the participant's journey towards finding and sustaining employment.
  • Pursue opportunities to enable individuals to reach their full potential as valued members of their community, aligned with their NDIS goals, including work experience activities.
  • Facilitate individual and group activities using various enabling styles, including job readiness skills, volunteering/work experience, and confidence-building exercises.
  • Maintain efficiency and compliance with administrative processes, adhering to organisational policies, procedures, legislative requirements, and guidelines from the National Disability Insurance Agency.
  • Ensure data integrity and manage workload efficiently, prioritising tasks to complete all work within designated timeframes.
About You:
  • Demonstrate autonomy and self-motivation in your work.
  • Show initiative and problem-solving skills to drive results.
  • Display resilience and patience when working with complex behaviours.
  • Possess a current First Aid and CPR Certificate or be willing to obtain it prior to commencement.
  • Have access to a reliable vehicle with current comprehensive car insurance.
  • Demonstrate the ability to provide vocational support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to build their capacity and work towards meeting their employment objectives.
  • Experience in facilitating individual and group educational activities is highly desirable.
  • High-level customer service skills, networking, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.
