About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our Security Operations team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with counterparts across the country to support and optimize the delivery of managed security services to domestic and global clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Security Operations platforms, including SIEM, XDR, VMS, Email Gateway, and OT Network Visibility
  • Lead diverse projects encompassing client onboarding, system migrations, and technology upgrades, providing strategic expertise and dedicated guidance to our Managed Security Service clients
  • Maintain and continually improve existing platforms, supporting systems, and infrastructure
  • Conduct technical evaluations and drive the selection of products that can enhance the service offering
  • Support the security operations in the delivery of services to our diverse range of clients
Requirements
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience
  • Good mix of skills, knowledge, and experience in Cloud Email Gateway, Web/DNS Filtering, and Network Visibility Platforms
  • Highly skilled in EDR/XDR products, SIEM solutions, and relevant query languages
  • Experience in managing on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, configuring and deploying firewall appliances, and scripting with Python, Bash, and PowerShell
  • Knowledgeable in SOAR or automation platforms to optimize and streamline security operations
  • Problem-solving attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills
