About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at the Australian Signals Directorate. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in defending the Whole of Australian Government information communications technology systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support, expert advice, and assistance to government agencies, the ADF, and Defence major capability programs when implementing new or existing High Assurance cryptographic systems into the secure communications environment.
  • Provide certification duties to ensure Common Criteria evaluations are completed in accordance with the international CC standard and ASD's policies and processes.
About Our Team

Our team is responsible for administering and managing the life cycle of High Assurance Cryptographic systems in the Australian Cryptographic inventory. We work closely with government agencies, the ADF, and Defence to ensure the security of classified Government information.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of High Assurance cryptographic systems and the ability to think outside the box in defending our Government from the most persistent of adversaries.
