About the PositionThe successful candidate will be responsible for strategically leading and managing the implementation of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
This includes certification of highly accomplished and lead teachers, progression from provisional to full teacher registration, teacher professional learning and development, and accreditation of all the University of Tasmania's initial teacher education courses under a national system.
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment) is mandatory.
- The ideal candidate will also have qualifications as established by the Tasmanian Industrial Commission in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award, 2005.
