Senior Medical Specialist for Electrophysiology

We are seeking a passionate professional to deliver high-quality clinical care and participate in outreach clinics, including occasional overnight stays, as a Staff Specialist Cardiologist (Electrophysiologist) in Far North Queensland.
The DepartmentThe Cardiac Services Department comprises two inpatient areas: a 12 bed Cardiac Care Unit and a 12 bed Cardiac Ward, along with 2 dedicated cardiac catheterisation laboratories. The department is committed to providing holistic care for patients with cardiac disease, with a strong emphasis on value-based healthcare for communities.
About the Role- Clinical Expertise: Conducting outpatient clinics, managing staff development, and making ethical decisions to drive organisational goals forward.
- Collaboration: Embracing a collaborative approach to patient care and delivering holistic care across the continuum.
- Registration as a Specialist Medical Practitioner in Cardiology with the Medical Board of Australia/Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority (AHPRA).
- Fellowship experience in cardiac electrophysiology – cardiac pacemakers, defibrillators, diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology services.
- Previous experience in cardiac genetics is highly desirable.
- Experience in a regional or tertiary cardiac centre, leading/directing Electrophysiology services is highly desirable.

What We Offer- Remuneration value up to $497,941 p.a. (L25 - L27) or Remuneration value up to $455,624 p.a. (L18 - L24).
- Salary: $251,527- $266,677 per annum (L25 – L27) $210,332 - $244,313 per annum (L18 – L24).

- Professional Development Leave 3.6 weeks p.a. plus Private Practice Arrangements.
