Job Description:

As a Senior Avionics Engineer, you will be responsible for investigating and analysing customer requests related to aircraft avionics issues. You will also perform technical and design change activities on C130J Hercules aircraft, develop and review engineering advice, authorised maintenance data, and instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and analyse customer requests related to aircraft avionics issues.
  • Perform technical and design change activities on C130J Hercules aircraft.
  • Develop and review engineering advice, authorised maintenance data, and instructions.
  • Collaborate with internal Systems Engineers and personnel to resolve technical issues effectively.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Avionics, Electrical, Mechatronics or compatible discipline from nationally accredited program or equivalent.
  • Relevant industry experience, ideally gained within a Continuous Airworthiness / Part 21J environment.
  • Previous exposure to a Defence project environment and the DASA regulation set.
  • Project/Task Management experience would be an advantage, however is not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn in a high workload environment.
