Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Employment Specialist to join our team at WISE Employment. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with disabilities, illnesses, injuries, or employment barriers to find and maintain employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with participants to understand their needs, interests, skills, and experience.
  • Assist participants with resume development, job applications, and interview preparation.
  • Identify and assess barriers to employment and create solutions to support participants at work and beyond.
  • Create job plans with participants to support clear pathways into sustainable employment.
  • Increase participants' employability through training and other support services.
  • SOURCE employment opportunities through networking and sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential employers and community organizations.
