Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Assurance team plays a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of incoming goods to ensure compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting products and materials for defects or irregularities;
  • Verifying supplier documentation, including dimensional reports and material certificates;
  • Participating in the creation and maintenance of inspection plans;
  • Raising nonconformance reports and coordinating corrective actions;
  • Coordinating Material Review Board meetings to determine disposition of nonconforming product;
  • Performing stock sorts to segregate nonconforming product.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Relevant experience in quality control or a related field is essential, along with qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering, quality, or a relevant trade.

Additionally, you should have experience with layout measurement equipment and ERP systems such as SAP.

Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance are also required.
