Salary

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $135,000 per annum, including superannuation. This salary reflects the firm's commitment to paying its employees a fair wage for their skills and experience.

Job Description

As a Senior Tax Accountant and Practice Manager, you will be responsible for managing the weekly accounting team meeting and utilizing modern software such as Karbon Insights for troubleshooting and projecting. You will also conduct team reviews and liaise with managers on improvement strategies per individual, as well as identify and oversee practice and process improvements.

You will be required to monitor firm-wide metrics, including WIP and productivity targets, and manage an existing portfolio of clients worth around $200,000. You will also develop relationships with new clients monthly and perform high-level transactional advisory work, such as CGT concessions and structuring/restructuring.

You will have access to a range of tools and systems, including Ignition, NowInfinity, and Karbon email/CRM/workflow system.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous management and operational experience, as well as experience working in an Australian accounting firm. You will also need to be motivated and ambitious, with a strong desire to succeed in your career.

You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
