This role presents an exciting opportunity to work independently, setting mid-term strategic objectives that align with company business goals. As an expert regional resource, you will provide technical and business leadership, mentor colleagues, and resolve complex challenges with innovative solutions.

The ideal incumbent will drive technical outcomes to meet customer objectives, collaborating closely with the entire sales team. You will deliver live demonstrations addressing customer business challenges, facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and proof-of-concepts.

  • Set objectives to guide strategic customer engagements.
  • Lead major proofs of concept, workshops, and customer demonstrations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within the region, advising on open source solutions.
  • Mentor colleagues to enhance technical and strategic capabilities.
  • Drive collaboration across business units, engineering, and professional services.
  • Bring insightful perspectives to customer conversations.

Key requirements include excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with experience in technical sales. You should have knowledge of cloud Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) technologies like Red Hat OpenShift or related experience with Kubernetes deployments.

  • Knowledge of Linux or UNIX operating systems, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies for application deployment and operations.
  • Familiarity with the design and operation of medium to large-scale enterprise and cloud infrastructures.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with information technology security technologies and cloud-native application security.
