Network Operations Centre Leadership Role

The Network Operations Centre Manager role at South East Water is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery and support of real-time operational systems within the Digital and Transformation Group. As a seasoned operations leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of water and wastewater services across SEW's catchment area.

This critical role will involve leading a high-performing team of operators and technical specialists in monitoring, controlling, and optimising network performance through SCADA, telemetry, IoT, and digital systems. If you possess a blend of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and industry-specific knowledge, then this could be your next role.

Key Requirements

To be considered, you'll require:

  • 5–10 years' experience in operations management within utilities, energy, or critical infrastructure
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, IT, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA, telemetry, IoT, or similar control systems
  • Proven leadership in managing 24/7 or shift-based teams
  • Experience in water industry operations and regulatory frameworks
  • Familiarity with digital transformation, predictive analytics, or smart infrastructure
  • Track record in incident management and emergency response
  • ITIL certification and an understanding of hydraulic systems
