Job Description:

This is a temporary vacancy open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions will not exceed 12 months.

About the Role:

  • Provide high-level specialist curriculum, strategy, and policy advice to senior management and clients on achieving educational excellence in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
  • Lead and participate in project teams to develop and implement curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment products and services that support quality outcomes in schools.
  • Develop and undertake projects with a specific focus on the STEM initiatives detailed in the Equity and Excellence strategic plan and the work related to the Schools of the Future STEM strategy.
  • Build stakeholder relationships including across government, industry, and universities.
  • Have thorough knowledge of contemporary curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment practices to support the planning and development of mathematics resources for secondary schools.
  • Have high-level written communication skills.
  • Have experience in developing curriculum and pedagogy resources and leading the professional learning of teachers.
  • Be able to work independently and contribute to a team.
  • Be able to undertake evaluation for continual improvement of projects.
