About the Role

We seek a skilled, self-motivated Senior Software Developer to join our close-knit engineering team. If you're passionate about solving complex problems, enjoy autonomy, and have a keen interest in technology and financial markets, this role could be your perfect next step.

  • Create products and features that help Australian investors track markets, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions.
  • Enhance a platform serving over 1 million users, ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with our CTO and talented engineers to shape system architecture and technical direction.
  • Tackle challenges in scaling, performance optimization, and complex integrations like building analytics dashboards, advanced search functions, and A/B testing frameworks.
  • Choose the best tools and technologies for the job, contribute to key technical decisions, and drive innovation in a fast-moving agile team.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience as a software engineer in an agile environment. Experience in startups, financial media, or data-driven roles is beneficial.
  • Passion for investing and financial markets – you'll be building products for investors, so an interest in this space is advantageous.
  • Autonomy and initiative – you're a self-starter who enjoys the freedom to choose tools and approaches while aligning with company goals.
  • Bonus points for experience with AWS, PHP (Laravel), or Ruby on Rails.
