Assistant Manager/Lead Educator Position">

The position of Assistant Manager/Lead Educator is available at our 82 place childcare service. The role is an integral leadership opportunity where you will work alongside a dedicated team in delivering both high quality education and care as well as exceptional customer service for our children, families and community.

As the Assistant Manager, you will have influence on how this role is shaped, working with our existing leadership triangle consisting of a Service Manager, Curriculum Leader and Service Administrator. The successful applicant will split their week in both a contact and non-contact capacity to provide in the moment coaching to the team, as well as managerial support to the leadership team ensuring smooth operation of the service.

To be eligible for this role, you should hold a Bachelor of Education, Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent or working towards, in-depth experience in leading a team within a childcare service, strong communication and time-management skills, a valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain, current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain, and contribute to exceeding outcomes for children and educators.

Our childcare service caters for children from 6 weeks to five years old across 5 rooms and 2 stunning outdoor play areas as well as a piazza unique atelier. Our management team provides strong guidance and support throughout your career journey. We utilize the Story Park platform enriching our communication with families about their child's development and fostering a sense of active participation.
