Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to deliver outstanding service and meet member needs. This role is responsible for working with members to achieve their financial goals, opening accounts, processing transactions, and responding to queries.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience in retail sales, preferably in financial services, and a high school certificate or equivalent. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building effective working relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Member Service: Working with members to achieve their financial goals, providing guidance on banking products and services.
  • Account Management: Opening accounts, processing transactions, and responding to member inquiries.
  • Business Development: Proactively promoting Defence Bank within Defence, industry partners, and the broader community.
  • Compliance: Ensuring ongoing compliance with legislation and policies by completing branch tasks.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least two years' experience in retail sales, preferably in financial services.
  • Qualifications: High school certificate or equivalent.
  • Skills:
    • Achieving agreed goals in line with individual and team plans.
    • Building effective working relationships with stakeholders.
    • Facilitating presentations to small and large groups.
    • Picking up new concepts quickly.
    • Time management with ability to handle unplanned interruptions.
