Overview:

">

We are seeking an experienced electrical technician to maintain and service utility-scale battery sites, primarily focusing on the Tesla Megapack battery storage product.

">

You will join a team responsible for supporting the maintenance of battery storage sites in the Williamsdale region, where you will service, troubleshoot, and upgrade medium to high voltage equipment.

">

Occasional travel to support other regional sites may be required.

">">Key Responsibilities:">
  • ">
  • As an Electrical Technician, you will troubleshoot and repair equipment as defined by the service engineering team.">
  • Perform complex electro-mechanical debugging, rework, and repairs, undertaking tasks that require a high level of skill and patience.">
  • Work across Powerpack and Megapack Utility sites to ensure operations and maintenance requirements are met and the fleet performs optimally.">
  • Develop and adhere to best practices and procedures for maintenance activities related to Tesla Energy equipment.">
  • Clear communication is essential, including daily updates on work completed, problems identified, and future timelines within the organization.">
">Required Skills & Qualifications:">
  • ">
  • Certified Electrician (Cert III+ in Electrical/Electro Technology)">
  • Minimum 5 years' experience, with at least 3 years' electrical maintenance experience, ideally within the Utility sector">
  • Up-to-date Electrical Registration/License">
  • HV switching experience preferred">
  • SCADA operating experience">
  • Ability to work from complex and detailed documentation and/or verbal and written instructions">
  • Strong computer skills, ability to utilise proprietary and 3rd party OEM software">
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings">
