Job Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to work in a leading regional health service as a Mental Health Lead Clinician. The role will provide community-based assessment, treatment and support to adults with complex mental health disorders.

  • Provide community-based assessment, treatment and support to adults (25-65 years) with complex mental health disorders.
  • Work closely with the multi-disciplinary Community Mental Health team to ensure high-quality care for patients.
  • Ensure that families and carers are included and well-supported in the care planning process.
  • Contribute positively as part of a close-knit regional team, managing own caseload and pitching in to help others when needed.
Key Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker with experience and post-graduate qualifications in Mental Health.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, underpinned by sound clinical knowledge and experience.
  • Great organisational skills and attention to detail to manage a busy and varied workload.
  • A driver's licence is essential for regular travel throughout the region.
