We are seeking a dedicated and accomplished General Medicine Consultant to join our esteemed medical team on a full-time basis.

About Our Regional Health Service:

Our hospital is part of the largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne, providing comprehensive care to a catchment population of 250,000 with over 2000 staff catering to the diverse needs of the regional community.

Our Hospital Expansion:

Our hospital is currently undergoing a significant redevelopment, featuring the construction of a new ED and short stay unit. The ED boasts 20 treatment areas, including 4 consulting rooms, a plaster room, an eye room, 12 general cubicles, and 2 resuscitation beds, solidifying its position as the regional Trauma Centre.

Located 3.5 hours from Melbourne, our city is surrounded by picturesque parklands along Australia's longest river. Residents enjoy an active lifestyle, engaging in outdoor activities like swimming, kayaking, and cycling, while visitors can explore the local restaurant scene or shop at the weekly Farmers Market every Sunday.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Registration Eligibility: Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA.General Medicine Experience: Possess at least 12 months recent experience in General Medicine at Consultant level.RACP Training Program: Be on RACP training program and soon receive FRACP.FRACP Eligibility: Hold or be eligible for the FRACP.Cross-Cultural Competence: IMGs eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ.Assessment Status: IMGs with RACP interview date or recently assessed by RACP and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
