Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate site activities, including subcontractors and tradespeople.
  • Monitor project timelines and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations and industry standards.
  • Interpret and implement construction plans, specifications, and drawings.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports.
  • Manage site resources, including materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Resolve on-site issues and provide practical solutions to maintain workflow.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Building and Construction or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a site supervisory role within the construction industry.
  • Sound knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian Standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Current White Card and valid driver's license.
  • Experience with residential and commercial construction projects.
  • Familiarity with project management software and digital site tools.
  • Ability to foster a positive and productive site culture.
