Supervisor of a Recycling Depot

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our recycling centre. As a key figure in maintaining operational efficiency, you will play a crucial role in ensuring maximum uptime and processing volumes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team, providing ongoing mentoring, coaching, and support to enhance their performance.
  • Efficiently manage operational teams to guarantee high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement effective WHS governance practices and improvements within the depot.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders through open communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and professional work environment for staff and customers.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to RVMs with technical support from designated technicians.
  • Adhere to strict safety standards and guidelines as outlined by regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar supervisory role.
  • Tertiary qualification in Frontline Management or equivalent is preferred.
  • Possession of a current Forklift Licence.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and software applications.
  • Ability to motivate employees through professional development opportunities.
  • Strong customer service skills, including complaint handling.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Personal drive for success and achievement.
