Strategic Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist

In this key position, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, actionable cyber threat intelligence to internal and external stakeholders. Your expertise in collecting, researching, analysing, and building a deep technical understanding of cyber threats relevant to the Government, Central Bank, Financial Sector, and Critical Infrastructure is crucial for our organisation's success.
- You will provide leadership and support to intelligence functions by operationalising intelligence to inform and enable incident response, threat hunting, vulnerability analysis, detection engineering, and other related activities.
- You will produce and disseminate contextualised strategic, operational, and tactical cyber threat intelligence products and services to meet stakeholder requirements.
- Collaboration with the Security Operations Centre, including Detect, Hunt, and Response functions, as well as contributing critical intelligence which supports cyber risk management activities, insider threat, vulnerability posture management, and offensive security capability.
Key responsibilities include providing intelligence support to investigations, supporting less experienced staff to develop their skills, and driving the growth and success of our people.
About You- 3+ years' experience in a cyber threat intelligence or technical cyber security role is highly desirable; alternatively, a minimum of 5 years' experience in an adjacent information technology discipline.
- Detailed knowledge and technical understanding of the threat landscape, threat actors, attack patterns, adversarial behaviours, and tradecraft, including Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
- A broad understanding of cybersecurity and information technology topics and principles relevant to a modern enterprise environment.
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, backed up by an ability to rationalise and articulate conclusions from analytical work.
- Deep understanding of cyber threat intelligence concepts, taxonomies, and analytical frameworks.
Desirable certifications include Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, CREST Registered Threat Intelligence Analyst (CRTIA), MITRE ATT&CK Defender Certifications, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM).
