Pro Vice Chancellor: Aboriginal Leadership and Strategy

About the Role
The University of South Australia is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Leader to drive the advancement of Aboriginal leadership and strategy across the institution. This key role will be responsible for overseeing and implementing initiatives that promote and support the University's Aboriginal students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance Aboriginal student recruitment and transition initiatives
- Lead the development of education and research strategies that promote Aboriginal knowledge and culture
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Leadership Team to strengthen the University's position as a leader in Aboriginal education and research
- Develop and implement employment strategies that promote Aboriginal career advancement and retention
- Lead community engagement and outreach initiatives that promote the University's commitment to Aboriginal reconciliation
Requirements and Experience
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and management experience in a senior role, with a strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and history. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
