About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Lawyer to join our Sydney team.

As a Litigation Lawyer at Hamilton Locke, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of matters, including commercial disputes, insolvency, and corporate governance.

You will be part of a close-knit team, working closely with senior lawyers and like-minded professionals to develop and grow your skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive advice to officers and boards on corporate governance and insolvency matters.
  • Conducting litigation in relation to restructures and insolvent entities.
  • Defending investigations and prosecutions brought by ASIC against companies and individuals.
  • Resolving shareholder oppression actions.
  • Conducting litigation in relation to disputed contract rights and obligations.

What You Will Need

  • 1-5 years' legal experience post-admission.
  • Litigation experience in a commercial litigation team.
  • A genuine passion for disputes matters and a desire to develop your skills.
  • The ability to work in a close-knit, high-performing team.
