Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional to deliver exceptional patient care and support in a multidisciplinary team setting.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a large cancer care provider in radiation therapy within our Adelaide clinic.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical care, education, and support to deliver an exceptional patient experience by responding to patient needs as part of a team.
  • Deliver treatment and supportive medication administration as per prescribed protocols.
  • Effectively manage patient load.
  • Facilitate effective lines of communication with medical officers, staff, and other team members.
  • Monitor and maintain procedures, protocols, practices, and clinical guidelines in line with best practice medical oncology nursing standards.
  • Establish communication for allied health services using ISBAR communication tool.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • AHPRA registration
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate empathy for patients.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to quality improvement and best practice principles, including NSQHS.
