Occupational Therapist Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing professional services to individuals with vision impairment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and flexible professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, current registration as an Occupational Therapist, and a sound understanding of client-centred practice.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement evidence-based intervention programs for clients with vision impairment, including prescription of necessary equipment.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and colleagues to develop goals based on client needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and prepare reports as required.
  • Present information sessions and workshops on occupational therapy intervention programs for clients with vision impairment.
  • Network with other agencies and professionals to increase referrals for services in the region.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
  • Sound understanding of client-centred practice.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and modern technology.
