Production Equipment Specialist

With a strong focus on career development and progression, Ausreo offers an exciting opportunity for a Production Equipment Specialist to join our Wacol team at our brand-new site.
The successful candidate will report to Operations Manager and be responsible for the safe and efficient use of machinery, including Off Coil, Shearline, and Bending Machines. Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining quality standards and operating machinery as per relevant Safe Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Achieving consistent output from similar input on daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.
- Conducting prestart checks on all plant and equipment and maintaining a safe and clean workspace.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Setting up machines and applying quality control inspections prior to and during machine operation.
- Effectively monitoring production and line performance and being involved in improvement activities.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Experience operating cranes, machines, and loading trucks.
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing/production environment.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and safety consciousness.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work part of a team as well as autonomously.
We offer a competitive salary package with estimated remuneration around $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, depending on your qualifications and expertise.
