Lead the Residential Division of Our Sydney Studio

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead the newly formed residential division of our Sydney studio. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and growing the residential sector, championing design excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and execution of mid to large-scale residential and mixed-use projects.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, translating their visions into actionable and feasible design concepts.
  • Navigate projects through council approvals efficiently.
  • Get involved in business development activities to attract new clients and projects through strategic marketing and relationship-building.
  • Mentor and inspire a team of designers and architects, fostering a creative and productive work environment.
  • Present concepts and designs to stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Ensure all project phases meet quality standards, deadlines, and budgetary constraints.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record in conceptual design, with a portfolio that showcases innovative residential projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully obtain council approvals for complex projects.
  • Experience in managing mid to large-scale architectural projects.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging effectively with all project stakeholders.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the architectural project lifecycle from concept to completion.
  • Strong design skills and the ability to engage clients effectively.
