Fire Safety Building Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Fire Safety Building Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for conducting fire safety assessments and audits, as well as building compliance evaluations.

In this role, you will work closely with clients who manage a range of property profiles, including commercial, retail, warehouse, and industrial facilities. You will also be responsible for managing and delivering assigned projects to ensure they meet defined project objectives, timeframes, and quality assurance standards.

To succeed in this position, you will hold Accredited Practitioner - Fire Safety accreditation with the Fire Protection Association of Australia and have proven experience in the auditing of essential fire safety measures. Additionally, you will possess excellent interpersonal, project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and a focus on client satisfaction.

Tertiary qualifications in engineering and/or fire technology, plus previous experience in a consulting role, will be highly regarded. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting fire safety assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Evaluating building compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve fire safety and reduce risks
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports related to fire safety assessments and audits
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Accredited Practitioner - Fire Safety accreditation with the Fire Protection Association of Australia
  • Proven experience in fire safety auditing and assessment
  • Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
