Senior Fund Accountant Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Fund Accountant to join our team in a globally recognized financial institution.
The ideal candidate will have over 130 years of experience in fund accounting and unit pricing, providing exceptional service using leading technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of service delivery through oversight of the Unit Pricing and Unit Registry function for all clients.
- Collaborate closely with teams across multiple locations and interact directly with external clients.
- Have responsibility for the Hard Close / month-end process and contribute to process changes resulting in greater operational efficiency.
- Direct liaison with clients, internal departments, unit pricing teams, unit registry teams, auditors, and other internal teams.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in written form with internal departments and external bodies.
- Identify, document, and disseminate new procedures and controls.
- Carry out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact.
Requirements:
- A wealth of experience in fund accounting and unit pricing.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet multiple daily deadlines for client deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills for professional liaison with various internal departments and external bodies.
- Numerical literacy and proficiency in computer applications such as Excel and Word.
- Analytical approach to problem-solving and innovative mindset.
