**Job Title:** Orthopaedic Surgeon Specialist

We are seeking an experienced orthopaedic surgeon to join our team as a visiting medical officer. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and skilled professional to make a meaningful contribution to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and medical students, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements:
  • Be registered or eligible for registration as a medical practitioner in Australia, with an unrestricted provider number.
  • Hold recognised specialist qualifications in orthopaedic surgery, or equivalent recognition.
  • Have relevant experience to practice as a senior medical practitioner in orthopaedic surgery.
  • Have completed a 12-month fellowship in complex trauma and revision arthroplasty.
Additional Requirements:
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Be willing and able to lead and supervise junior doctors, residents, and medical students, demonstrating strong leadership and mentoring skills.
