As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying quality issues for new products entering the market, ensuring full compliance with regulations. You will work closely with the QC and WHS teams to set up quality control processes and implement corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough visual and functional inspections of incoming goods across various product lines, including power tools, garden equipment, and home appliances.
  • Detect defects in manufactured goods and effectively communicate inspection results and recommendations to Quality Engineers, Product Managers, and Production teams.
  • Utilize investigative skills to diagnose faults, identify root causes, and provide guidance to rectify faults.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Follow established procedures and protocols for quality control, including sampling plans, inspection criteria, and documentation requirements.

Estimated Salary: AU$65,000 - AU$85,000 per annum, depending on experience. Skill Requirements:

  • Experience working as a quality inspector/engineer in a manufacturing environment, coupled with practical hands-on experience in conducting inspections and tests.

  • Proficient hands-on abilities to dismantle products, perform analysis, and reassemble them effectively.
  • Proven experience in report writing, preferably in a professional or academic setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, encompassing both written and verbal abilities.
  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
  • Proficiency in computer operations, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
