Role Overview
We are seeking a Negotiator of Neurodiverse Potential to join our multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, empathetic, and values a person-centred, neuroaffirming approach.
You'll support neurodivergent young people through direct engagement, while also guiding families through the NDIS and broader service system to ensure support is truly tailored to their needs.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide individualised learning and development support, focusing on self-determination, life skills, and confidence.
- Deliver assessments and interventions tailored to each person's strengths and interests.
- Support executive functioning, emotional regulation, social engagement, and daily living skills in a flexible, low-demand way.
- Offer programs to help individuals build skills and connections in ways that feel natural to them.
- Work closely with our Employment Coaches, Mentors, Support Workers and Leadership team to ensure a holistic, individualised approach.
- Be the primary contact for families, providing guidance, emotional support, and coordination of services.
- Help families understand and navigate NDIS supports and community resources in a way that aligns with their needs and values.
- Work alongside families to develop flexible and affirming support plans, reducing overwhelm and promoting autonomy.
- Ensure communication between different professionals is seamless and collaborative, advocating for the young person's best interests.
- Provide education, coaching, and practical strategies for caregivers to support their child's strengths and needs in daily life.
About Our Approach
We champion a neuro-affirming, person-led approach that celebrates individuality and supports people to thrive on their own terms—without pressure to conform to neurotypical expectations.
We offer holistic, strengths-based services that build confidence, self-advocacy, and social connection through sensory-friendly, interest-led programs.
