Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Environmental Health and Safety to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing an effective Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement EHS Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive EHS strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Training and Awareness: Provide training and awareness programs to employees on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate and report on incidents, near misses, and hazards, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate EHS policies, procedures, and best practices to employees, management, and stakeholders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure EHS integration into business operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Ergonomics, Safety Science, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in EHS, with 5+ years of managerial experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications, such as OH&S or EHS certifications.
