Melbourne, Victoria, Australia beBeeClinical Full time $103,920 - $114,828

Delivering targeted interventions is a key aspect of working at our youth justice precinct.

The precinct offers a safe and secure environment for young people to work on getting their lives back on track, with programs and services backed by world-leading research.

Our team plays a vital role in this process, responsible for the delivery of behaviour interventions that aim to reduce reoffending and equip young people with essential life skills.

The position involves working collaboratively to achieve sustained change in a young person's behaviour through individual interactions and group programs.

To be successful, you will need to possess relevant qualifications in psychology, social work, or a related discipline, as well as an understanding of psychometric tools and specialised psychological assessments.

A strong therapeutic approach is crucial, along with a passion for delivering evidence-based programs that meet the individual needs of young people.

Our clinicians lead and support Behaviour Support Staff, overseeing treatment plans, reports, and risk assessment strategies that promote positive outcomes.

Young people can benefit from innovative services aimed at reducing reoffending and giving them the skills to thrive in their communities.

Key responsibilities include providing clinical assessment and treatment, delivering complex clinical advice and interventions, and reporting directly to the Senior Clinician.

Eligibility requirements include holding a relevant qualification and registration with a professional body such as AHPRA, AASW, or Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.

Experience working with young people who have experienced trauma and adversity is highly valued, as is a commitment to ongoing professional development and collaborative practice.
