Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing and Production Executive to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will oversee the overall performance of our manufacturing operations, ensuring we meet or exceed key performance indicators in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.

Your primary responsibilities will include leading planning and implementation of new products into manufacturing from design stage to production release, delivering core metrics to drive operational excellence, developing a production strategy to meet objectives, and conducting trade-off analysis to review design changes for production readiness.

You will also be responsible for delivering day-to-day production plans, evaluating overall capabilities to drive improvement, overseeing the hiring, orienting, and training of production employees, and analyzing and providing solutions to manufacturing challenges or problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing role, including lean manufacturing and Kanban material handling. You should also possess:

  • Tertiary education in a relevant engineering or business discipline
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team
  • Ability to define and work to deadlines and budgets
  • Excellent computer skills (ERP skills also beneficial)
  • Experience with complex electromechanical products
  • A sound understanding of relevant quality systems, preferably with experience in FDA QSR 820.30, GMP operations, or -13485 QMS
