Education Quality Assurance Specialist

The role of this position is to drive the development, implementation and continuous improvement of education quality assurance across a higher education institution.

This specialist will collaborate with academic and professional staff, utilising data and feedback to implement strategies that promote educational excellence for students. The role also involves maintaining high standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

About the Role

  • Reporting to a senior manager, you will work collaboratively with academic and professional staff to improve education quality assurance and student satisfaction.
  • You will utilise data and feedback to inform decision-making and drive improvements in educational excellence.
  • Maintaining high standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements are key aspects of this role.
  • Fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement is essential.

Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as education or business.
  • Significant experience in quality assurance processes within a higher education context.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and best practices as they relate to teaching and the student experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making and drive improvements.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
