Expert Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide exceptional patient care in a Radiation Oncology setting.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for skilled individuals who have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Deliver excellent patient care, ensuring patients' physical and psychological needs are met.
  • Undertake direct patient care including education, wound management and medication administration as per Practice Protocol.
  • Effectively manage patients seen each day.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with doctors, allied health services and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality patient care that meets best practice radiation oncology nursing standards.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient interactions and progress.
  • Contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Promoting a culture of safety and professionalism within the team.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • A minimum 2 years post-graduate experience preferably in oncology nursing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
