About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Asset Planning Leader to join our client, a leading energy company in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the asset planning function, integrating strategic, operational, and commercial priorities.
  • Collaborate with asset management, operations, and finance teams to create and execute long-term plans.
  • Drive operational improvements to support the successful delivery of the company's field development program.
  • Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team, including key leadership roles such as the Asset Engineering Manager.
  • Provide strategic oversight of upstream assets to ensure optimized performance throughout their lifecycle.

What We Offer: An estimated salary of $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, plus additional benefits and opportunities for growth and professional development.

Requirements:
  • Proven strategic leadership experience in upstream oil & gas.
  • Deep expertise in asset planning, including financial modelling, budgeting, and economic analysis.
  • A strong commercial mindset with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex environments.
  • A track record of driving operational improvements and delivering measurable value.
  • CAPA qualification or equivalent is advantageous.
