PhD Scholarships: MAIC Road Safety Research Collaboration

We are seeking highly motivated and organized PhD candidates to join our research team at Griffith University. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on a dissertation contributing to the advancement of knowledge and theory in the field of road safety.
The research team is focused on traffic psychology and road safety, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with industry stakeholders. The PhD candidates will be based at the Mt Gravatt/Nathan campuses and will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and technology.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent research skills, and a passion for high-quality industry collaborative research. They will be well-organized, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
The PhD scholarships are available for a period of up to three years, with an annual stipend of $33,480 (indexed). The successful candidates will also have access to a range of benefits, including health insurance and a relocation allowance.
To be eligible for the PhD scholarships, applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree with honors equivalent to IIA/first class honors or a master's degree (AQF Level 9) incorporating a significant research component. They must also have a strong research background and a passion for road safety research.
